Right to information is a right of the general public. The Right to Information Act No. 12 of 2016 has been passed in the year 2016. This Act has been ranked third among the world's best Right to Information Acts, and thus the main factor behind its high global ranking is that the Act applies to companies dealing with the government in the use of public funds.
